116 – Mobiel Internet (2)

Zojuist toch maar een simkaart besteld bij Arieli. Tot en met 31 maart loopt er een kortingsactie en bovendien vond ik nog een kortingscoupon en ik betaal nu € 40 voor 30 dagen onbeperkt internet en 200 minuten naar Nederland bellen. 

Is het nodig? Nee. Is het handig? Ja, best wel. We hebben nu als we in de auto zitten file-informatie op de Tomtom, we kunnen 200 minuten naar huis (onze respectievelijke zussen) bellen, in de parken hebben we de meest actuele wachtrij informatie en kunnen we onze schema’s tot op het laatste moment updaten, we kunnen op ieder moment telefonisch een tafel in een restaurant reserveren en we kunnen het thuisfront, behalve via deze website, ook via Facebook en Whatsapp op de hoogte houden van onze vakantie vreugde.

114 – Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure (3)

Er wordt met spanning uitgekeken naar de openging van Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. Filmpjes van testruns, speculatie over de ride, voorspellingen dat er een soft-opening komt al voor de aangekondigde officiële opening op 13 juni. Het komt allemaal voorbij op de diverse websites en YouTube kanalen. Vandaag ontving ik een mailtje van onze vrienden van Atttractiontickets met wat nieuwe feitjes. 

Last month, Universal confirmed both the name and the opening date for their brand new Harry Potter ride, revealing that it would be called Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and would be opening to the public on 13th June. Now, they have shared some brand new, exciting details on what the ride will be like and it sounds incredible!

The ride experience starts when you join Hagrid’s Care of Magical Creatures class and board magical motorbikes especially designed to make you “feel the freedom of flight”. You can choose whether you want to be in charge and take the drivers seat of the motorbike or sit in the adjacent sidecar. Each seat will give you a different experience, so you might want to ride this one twice.

For the very first time, you’ll soar through the eerie Forbidden Forest and come face to face with some of the Wizarding World’s rarest magical creatures. Lots of the creatures that live in the forest are familiar with Hagrid, but that doesn’t mean things are going to go to plan!

This breath-taking new ride experience combines a new level of storytelling and innovative coaster technology with rich environments and impressive sets. For example, the Forbidden Forest will be a real forest with 1,200 live trees!

This epic coaster will send you on an exhilarating journey where you’ll twist, turn and rush forwards (and backwards!) at speeds of up to 50mph into the depths of the dark forest. You can expect to meet plenty of magical creatures along the way, including a swarm of mischievous Cornish Pixies, Centaurs, Fluffy- the famous three-headed dog and a mysterious creature that’s never been seen in the films!

There are so many unexpected twists to this amazing attraction including plenty of challenging obstacles, lots of surprises and an endless pit of Devil’s Snare!

113 – Sushi

Wij zijn alle drie groot liefhebber van sushi. De kans is dus aanwezig dat we tijdens ons verblijf een keer onweerstaanbare trek krijgen in sushi. En waar kunnen we dan terecht?

Allereerst bij A-Aki waar we in 2017 eerder aten. Voordeel van A-Aki is dat zij het onbeperkt sushi eten principe kennen. Dat kost $ 23,95 per persoon.

Geen onbeperkt sushi maar wel erg lekker. Als ik me goed herinner lekkerder dan A-Aki is Amura waar we in 2013 hebben gegeten.

112 – Disney Refillable Mug

Net als Universal kent ook Disney een hervulbare beker oftewel de Disney Refillable Mug.

Deze mugs werken hetzelfde als de cups in Universal: je betaalt eenmalig een bedrag (in dit geval $ 13,99) en je kan de hele dag verder drinken halen. Als je een volgende dag gaat, betaal je $ 8,99 en kan je weer de hele dag drinken.
